1. Julian Adyeri

Julian Adyeri Omalla, also known as Mama Cheers, is one of the Wealthiest Women in Uganda. She is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, and the founder and Managing Director of Delight Uganda Limited, a company that manufactures soft drinks and water. Taught by her mother to process fruits, she never imagined that the skills she acquired would lead her to become a billionaire.

Julian Adyeri is also the chairperson of the Bunyoro Grain Farmers Association and has expanded her ventures into large-scale farming in Singe, Tororo, and Wakiso Districts. She owns Global Foods Securities, a food processing company that packages flour and maize porridge for both local and export markets. Additionally, she produces animal feeds under the Mummy Choice brand, among other ventures.

2. Judy Rugasira Kyanda

Judy Rugasira is a prominent Ugandan entrepreneur, businesswoman, and real estate specialist. She is the Managing Director of Knight Frank Uganda Limited, a real estate agency and consultancy firm, where she has served for about 25 years.

Judy Rugasira’s expertise in real estate was developed during her time in the UK. Under her leadership, her real estate company manages prestigious properties such as Rwenzori Towers, Rwenzori Courts, Crested Towers, and Worker’s House—buildings that house some of Uganda’s most prestigious business enterprises and government offices. Her accomplishments solidify her position as one of the Wealthiest Women in Uganda.

3. Mariam Luyombo

Formerly known as Dorothy Nanziri, Mariam Luyombo is a Ugandan Educational Entrepreneur and the Director of Taibah Schools in Uganda. She worked as a Secondary School teacher at Makerere College from 1987 to 1998 and St. Joseph’s Secondary School Nsambya from 1998 up to 1990 where she acquired skills and therefore decided to invest in the Education sector.

Mariam Luyombo is believed to have acquire both a bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Makerere University where she gained experience and credentials that assisted her to master the art of Education, hence opening up one of the first International Schools in Uganda including Taibah High School and other schools like Silver Spoon Day care centre, Taibah Junior School and Taibah College School.

She is among others also the executive Director of Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association which provides business skills, training and offers counseling services to women entrepreneurs.

4. Tereza Mbire

Is a Presidential adviser, Ugandan Entrepreneur and advocate. She is the co-founder of the Uganda Women’s Finance and Credit Trust and the founder of the Uganda Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Association Limited.

Tereza Mbire is the Mother of one of the prominent richest people in Uganda, Charles Mbire but she did build her own Empire. She owns Home Pride Bakery, Kampala Florists and Pop in Industries which specifically make clothes.

5. Amina Hersi Moghe

Born in 1964, Amina, a Somali entrepreneur, has launched several multi-million-dollar projects in Kampala, Uganda. Notable among her ventures are the Oasis Shopping Mall and the Laburnum Courts Apartments on Nakasero Hill.

Amina is also in the process of launching the Atiak Sugar Factory, the first large-scale industrial project for Northern Uganda, marking a major milestone for the region. Additionally, she is one of Kampala’s largest cement and hardware material distributors through her company, Kingstone Enterprises. With her impressive business success, Amina has become a role model for the younger generation and was awarded the ‘Woman Investor of the Year’ in 2008. 6. Jyotsna Ruparelia

Wife to the Kampala business Mogul, Sudhir Ruparelia, Ms Jyotsna is the co founder of Ruparelia Foundation,heads the grants division,and an active board member of several group companies.

As Director, Jyotsna has also been instrumental on the expansion and growth of the Ruparelia Group of Companies with active participation in the operations and management of the insurance, property development and investment, businesses valued in million of dollars.

7. Morine Wavamuno

She is one of the Ugandan ladies with a rather high income due to her significant work. Morine is the Executive Director of the Wavamuno Group of companies which includes Spear Motors, Wavah water among others and all these businesses are estimated to earn billion of shillings hence making her one of the wealthiest woman in the country.

8. Dr Margaret Kigozi

Commonly known as Maggie Kigozi, she is a Ugandan medical doctor, business consultant, educator, and sportswoman.

Maggie is a consultant at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and has made notable contributions in various sectors. Her family holds shares in Crown Beverages, a company where her late husband, Dan Kigozi, served as one of the board directors. Maggie’s diverse roles and impactful career solidify her status as one of the Wealthiest Women in Uganda.

9. Allen Kagina

Full names Allen Catherine Kagina is a Ugandan administrator cooperate Executive and Executive Director of the Uganda National Roads Authority, a position she was appointed to by  the President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

She formerly served as the Commissioner General of the Uganda Revenue Authority from 2004 to 2014.
