Renowned Ugandan Music producer, Nash Wonder has accused singerĀ  Sheebah Karungi of failing to compensate him for his work on some of her biggest hits.

He made this revelation while appearing on Galaxy TV with Mr.Henrie.

Nash claims that he was never paid for producing popular tracks like Ice Cream and Twesana, songs that played a key role in solidifying Sheebah’s success in the Ugandan music industry.

In a statement, Nash explained that his early passion for music drove him to collaborate with talented artists without focusing on payment. ā€œI had a deep love for art and a hunger to make it in the industry,ā€ he said. ā€œWhen you see someone with talent, you just want to help them.ā€

Though Nashā€™s focus was on building his reputation and supporting up-and-coming artists, his contributions to Sheebahā€™s hits remained unpaid, despite the success those songs achieved.

Nash Wonder has also been critical of Ugandan artists, accusing them of greed and a lack of gratitude towards producers.

Nashā€™s career in Ugandaā€™s music scene began to gain traction in 2012 when he produced Kabakoā€™s hit Ndaba Bulabi. His success continued to grow, particularly after his work on Sheebah’s Ice Cream, which helped elevate both his and her careers.

He went on to produce Ndabilawa for Kalifah Aganaga, further establishing himself as a prominent figure in the Ugandan music industry.
