Renown Media Personality Shamim Nayiga has thrown in the towel at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation ( UBC TV) and instantly joined the National Media Group- Owned NTV Uganda, Daily Spear Uganda has learnt.
Starting Monday 4th March 2024 , Shamim will be hosting the NTV Luganda news dubbed “NTV Akawungeezi” which airs at 7PM.
Shamim assumes the role with the task of stepping into the shoes of Fradiah Nakazibwe , one of the industry’s notable news personalities who resigned from the Serena based TV station a few months ago.
With her extensive experience, Shamim is poised to excel in her new role .Her distinctive style of news anchorinng is expected to quickly endear her to the public , enduring a seamless transition and garnering widespread acclaim in no time.
Taking it to her socials , Shamim to say goodbye to her UBC TV and confirming to them her new media home.
