Veteran singer Red Banton born Lubega Tony has opened up about a series of strange and emotional dreams involving the late Mowzey Radio, saying the fallen Goodlyfe crew artist keeps appearing to him, urging that his last funeral rites (Lumbe) be performed.
Speaking in an interview, Red Banton revealed that Radio has appeared to him several times in his sleep dressed smartly in his trademark army shoes and often seems peaceful but concerned about unfinished spiritual matters.

“In one dream, we were at Nanganda near the Goodlyfe home. He was dressed smartly in his usual style and told me to hold his Lumbe. In another, he gave me a song that I’m still working on. He keeps coming to me in my sleep,” Red Banton emotionally shared.
The ” Balogo” hitmaker went on to describe another powerful dream where Radio offered him a lift to a lake a scene he believes carried deep spiritual meaning.
“I didn’t know how to get to the lake, but he arrived in a big car, wearing a sleeveless shirt, and told me he would take me there. He drove me to my destination and then disappeared,” Banton narrated.

The veteran singer believes these repeated dreams could be a message from the spiritual world, indicating that Mowzey Radio’s spirit may not be at rest because his Lumbe has never been performed.
“Maybe he also appears to other people who fear coming out publicly, but I believe he wants his Lumbe to be done so he can rest in peace,” he concluded
The late Mowzey Radio, one of Uganda’s most talented and celebrated musicians, passed away in February 2018 after sustaining injuries in a bar fight. His music and legacy continue to inspire many across the country.
