City socialite Prima Kardashi has opened up about the difficult journey she’s endured over the past few years, revealing how she hit rock bottom and slowly began rebuilding her life.
Speaking during an emotional live session on TikTok, Prima shared how she was overwhelmed by debt and reached a point where she had “absolutely nothing left.”
“I was completely broke,I didn’t know what to do next. Everything I owned was gone.”,she confessed.
According to Prima, her sister stepped in when she learned about the situation, suggesting that Prima let her two children stay with her while she worked to get back on her feet.
“My sister told me, ‘Leave the kids with me as you figure yourself out.That’s when it hit me I had truly gone back to zero”,Prima recalled.
In an effort to survive, Prima began selling her household items piece by piece, though she admitted the money seemed to disappear as quickly as she earned it.
Her situation worsened after selling her car to invest in a cosmetics business in Kenya a venture that had once brought her profits of UGX 10–11 million, but this time, everything went wrong.
“It was like the money vanished into thin air,I couldn’t even explain how it was spent.”,she said.
Trying to recover, Prima bought another car on credit, but when she failed to complete the payments, it was repossessed. At her lowest point, she stayed with friends and turned to faith for comfort.
“All I did was sleep, eat, and go to church,I spent most of my days at Mutundwe Christian Fellowship — I was desperate for God.”,she shared.
Prima, who shares past relationships with singer Geosteady and media personality Mr. Henrie, revealed that this difficult chapter unfolded just last year, around the time she turned 30.
“Turning 30 was a wake-up call,I learned what truly matters the value of people, money, and humility.”,she reflected
Her breakthrough came when Kampala Cream, a reality TV show airing on Pearl Magic, offered her a role. Prima says the opportunity helped her regain her confidence and start a new chapter in her life.
“That show gave me a reason to believe in myself again,It was the beginning of my comeback.”she said.
