TV personality and actress, Precious Remmie has come under intense criticism from the public after making a controversial statement comparing President Museveni to God.
During a recent broadcast on Sanyuka Television, Remmie sparked outrage by saying the President holds divine-like control over the nation’s affairs. In her live remarks, she declared, “The President is like an earthly god. He has the power to shape people’s lives. He can choose to kill, free, or imprison, so I intentionally call him the god of the earth.”
Her comments immediately drew strong reactions, with many Ugandans expressing shock and questioning her intentions.
Critics condemned her statement as inappropriate, accusing her of endorsing autocratic rule by likening political authority to divine power.
