Ugandan renowned pastor, Aloysius Bugingo has addressed the public following his harrowing assassination attempt on Tuesday evening.
The bloody incident, which occurred along Namungoona, Zone 2, Kasubi Rubaga Division in Kampala, resulted in the tragic loss of his bodyguard, Richard Muhumuza, and injuries to his driver.
Bugingo, narrowly escaping death, revealed that he endured two gunshot wounds to his arm but managed to drive himself to Mulago Hospital for immediate and life-saving medical attention.
Speaking from his home, the pastor expressed gratitude for the outpouring of prayers during the perilous moment, acknowledging that he is alive and attributing his survival to a second chance from God, despite the loss of his bodyguard.
