Rapper Fik Fameica has set the record straight about his musical journey, firmly denying claims made by fellow artist Pallaso.
In several past interviews, Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso and head of Team Good Music (TGM), has repeatedly stated that he played a key role in launching Fik Fameica’s career.

Pallaso claimed he discovered Fameica in the ghettos of Kawempe, introduced him to music, and even supported him financially during his early days.
However, Fik Fameica has dismissed these statements as false.

“Pallaso lied to you. He has never contributed anything to my journey. He just supported me as a fan, but nothing more. He’s just a fan like anyone else.”Fameica said in a recent interview with a local YouTuber.
The rapper emphasized that he is entirely self-made and credited his own efforts for his success. He also pointed out that he made an impact right from the beginning of his career.
“I’m self-made. I actually made a hit the first time I went to the studio I released ‘Pistol’,” he said.
Fik Fameica broke onto the music scene in 2018 with his hit song “Kutama.” Since then, he has consistently released chart-topping tracks and cemented his position as one of the leading artists in the Ugandan music industry.
