Team Good Music (TGM) boss Pius Mayanja better known as Pallaso has addressed rumors suggesting that he played a role in the recent arrest and police detention of his former associate Fik Gaza.
During a recent interview in Mengo, Pallaso firmly denied the accusations, expressing indifference toward those spreading the claims.
“People say all sorts of things about me. Uganda is a free country, and everyone has the right to speak their mind. If we reacted to every rumor, we’d never get anywhere,” Pallaso stated.

The rumors began circulating after gossip personality Black Sugar claimed to have been present during Fik Gaza’s arrest.
She accused Pallaso of orchestrating the whole incident alleging that someone named Julio pressed the charges against Gaza on Pallaso’s behalf.
Black Sugar further suggested that he might be using the situation to boost ticket sales for his upcoming concert.

Fik Gaza, along with several others, was arrested during a police raid at his home in Katwe, which was part of a crackdown on rising robbery incidents in the area.
Authorities reportedly found machetes, military uniforms, and suspected drugs during the operation.
It’s worth noting that Pallaso and Fik Gaza were once close with him having previously spoken about helping Gaza turn his life around when he was still struggling in the ghetto.
However, when asked if he would step in to support Gaza now, he made it clear that he believed Gaza had other people around him who would provide help.
“He has his own people who will be there for him.I can’t carry an old man’s burden when I have children of my own. We don’t wish harm on anyone, and we hope for the best for him. Everyone faces their struggles, and when it was my time, my family supported me. I can’t carry everyone’s cross, especially with the police involved in his case.” ,Pallaso said.
