Renowned Ugandan events promoter Norbert Twozire, popularly known as Nobat Events, is under legal scrutiny following allegations of cyber harassment.
The case was officially filed by musician Jose Chameleone at Katwe Police Station, registered under reference number 112/06/10/202.
According to reports, the dispute stems from a series of public statements made by Nobat, in which he repeatedly spoke negatively about Chameleone during media interviews.
The singer had previously issued a cease and desist order, warning Nobat to stop making defamatory remarks or face legal consequences.
Chameleone, who asserts he has never worked with Nobat, expressed frustration over being dragged into conflicts involving Nobat and his brothers, fellow musicians Weasel and Pallaso. He stated that the promoter’s claims were baseless and damaging to his reputation.

Despite the legal warning, Nobat reportedly dismissed the matter and went on to appear in a YouTube interview, where he openly mocked Chameleone and even accused him of “bewitching” him, further escalating tensions.
The situation is currently under investigation, and more developments are expected as the case unfolds.
