Presidential advisor Hajjat Namyalo Hadijah has come forward with new revelations about the paternity of gospel singer Desire Luzinda’s 18-year-old daughter, Michelle.
In a recent statement, Namyalobwho says she has been a close friend of Luzinda for years disclosed that Michelle’s biological father is a man named Kaddu, not Lt. Col. Juma Seiko, as has been widely speculated.
Her remarks come in response to recent claims made by Gulu-based businessman and army officer Lt. Col.Juma Seiko,who publicly stated that he is Michelle’s real father.
Seiko told the media that Michelle bears a striking resemblance to him and his other children, and expressed his desire to take a DNA test to confirm paternity.
“For years, I’ve asked for a DNA test, but Desire has refused,“She knows blood is thicker than water. She even once refused to release the girl from school despite a prior agreement that involved her lawyers.”Seiko said during a recent interview with a local TV station.
However, Namyalo dismissed Seiko’s claims, questioning why he only came forward now that Michelle is an adult.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with men these days,this man never claimed the child when she was young. Now that she’s grown, he suddenly wants to step in?”Namyalo said.
According to Namyalo, Michelle’s father is Kaddu a man who was deeply in love with Desire at the time Michelle was born.
Although their relationship eventually fell apart, Namyalo revealed that she was among the individuals who tried to mediate between them, hoping they would raise the child together.
“Desire loved Kaddu so much, even though he was very ungrateful. I personally sat with them to help sort out their issues. These other men coming out now are just seeking attention,” she added.
It’s worth noting that Desire Luzinda recently tied the knot with fellow gospel artist Levixone.
