Renowned media personality Mr Henrie, real name Arinaitwe Henry, has officially announced his departure from Galaxy FM and TV after nearly eight years with the Kasanga-based media house.
The announcement, which he shared via his social media platforms, marks what he described as one of the most difficult decisions of his career.
In a heartfelt statement, Mr Henrie reflected on his journey with Galaxy, calling it a place that has been more than just a workplace, it was a home, a family, and the foundation of his career in media.
“After nearly eight unforgettable years at Galaxy FM and Galaxy TV, I officially announce my departure from the station that has been my home, my family, and the heartbeat of my career,” Mr Henrie wrote.
He expressed deep gratitude to his fans the “Bazzinyi”for their unwavering support, which propelled him to become one of Uganda’s top radio presenters. He acknowledged the countless memories, joyful moments, and listener interactions that helped shape his personal and professional growth.

Mr. Henrie also extended his thanks to the management of Galaxy FM and TV for believing in his potential, not just as a presenter but also by entrusting him with a Public Relations role an opportunity he credits for his continued development.
“This has not been an easy decision. Galaxy has been my second home, but it’s time for me to chase new dreams and pursue new goals,” he said, adding that he will always hold dear the lessons, friendships, and experiences from his time there.
