Former Blu3 member Lillian Mbabazi has opened up about the long-standing tension between her two friends, Cindy Sanyu, also a former member of Blu3, and Sheebah Karungi.
The two artists have had a strained relationship for years, culminating in a public musical showdown at Kololo Independence Grounds in 2023, which captured the attention of their fans and the music industry.
Addressing the ongoing conflict, Lillian Mbabazi explained that she prefers to stay out of their disagreements, allowing the two women to handle their differences on their own.
“They are grown women. I won’t fight their battles for them,” she said.
Lillian Mbabazi also downplayed the notion of deep animosity between the two, suggesting that any perceived conflict is largely a creation of fans.
“I wouldn’t call them best friends, but from both Sheebah’s and Cindy’s perspectives, they are not actively fighting each other,” she explained.

When it comes to the musical face-off at Kololo Airstrip, Lillian made it clear that she wasn’t picking sides but rather supporting the art of good music.
Despite her ties with Cindy, Lillian’s bond with Sheebah remains strong, especially given their close relationship in recent years.

“With Sheebah, I will always support her because, over the past few years, she’s been there for me in ways that many others haven’t. My loyalty to her will always remain,” Lillian shared.
