Renowned Kampala land and property broker, Hajji Kamoga of Kamoga Properties, has confirmed the final resolution of a long-standing land dispute between Mary Nambwayo and her ex-husband, Suuna Ben.
According to Kamoga, both parties reached an amicable agreement, and there will be no further conflict over the contested property.
“No one will ever hear or see them fighting over that land again. Everyone got what they needed and appeared satisfied,” he stated.
The former couple, who share a child, had jointly purchased land during their relationship with plans to build a home for their family.
However, their dreams began to unravel amid disputes over ownership and contributions toward the property and a flat house they had constructed.

Mary claimed she had contributed financially to the land purchase, but Suuna Ben insisted he had funded it entirely and rejected her claims to the property. Tensions escalated further when Suuna accused Hajji Kamoga of taking sides with Mary in the disagreement an accusation Kamoga has since dismissed.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Kamoga described it as one of the most challenging disputes he has mediated.
“It was a very difficult situation, but I’m relieved that Mary was able to get land elsewhere and has already started building,” he said.

He concluded by addressing public speculation: “Mary Nambwayo and Suuna Ben’s issues were resolved, and they reached an agreement. Some people expected drama, but everything was settled peacefully.”
