Musician King Saha has once again rejected the leadership of Eddy Kenzo, asserting that the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) is simply a faction that opposes his own authority over the music industry.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, King Saha made it clear that he does not recognize the UNMF or its president, Kenzo, as legitimate representatives of musicians in Uganda.
According to Saha, their actions do not reflect the needs of the wider music community but rather serve the interests of a small group.
“I only acknowledge UMA as the legitimate governing body for musicians in Uganda,”the others are just opposition to my leadership. I am the true President of musicians, and I deeply understand their struggles. Kenzo and his supporters are simply opposing what I stand for.”Saha stated.
King Saha’s criticism of Kenzo’s leadership and the UNMF has been ongoing since the federation was formed in March 2023.
