Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President Eddy Kenzo has responded to President Yoweri Museveni’s recent remarks concerning artist Bebe Cool and the long-awaited recording studio project.
While unveiling a new music album curated by the UNMF, President Museveni revealed that he had previously supported Bebe Cool in establishing a recording center, but noted he had not received any updates on its development.
Despite this, the President praised Kenzo and the UNMF for putting government support to good use and making notable progress in the music industry.
In response, Kenzo emphasized the importance of focusing on the strides made rather than dwelling on past setbacks.

“We appreciate every step that was taken before us, and we built on that foundation.Sometimes, it’s better not to revisit such conversations when we have positive progress to show.”,Kenzo said.
He also acknowledged Bebe Cool’s enduring influence in the music industry, despite the President’s concerns.

“Bebe Cool is still a key figure in this industry. He has guided us in many ways as an elder. I’m not here to point fingers over what he did or didn’t do. I believe he’ll handle things directly with the President.”,Kenzo added.
