Baba TV, a prominent media outlet based in Busoga has announced the addition of Isaac Katende , better known as Kasuku to their team.
The news was shared in a post on the TV station’s official Facebook page, where they celebrated the signing of the well-known entertainment analyst and vlogger.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to introduce the best signing ever! The most trending online expert and the best vlogger of today (and the next 1000 years), Kasuku Live is officially a part of the Baba TV Uganda family. Welcome, Ssemanegene!” the station posted.
Kasuku, who has made a name for himself as a YouTuber, radio, and TV host, joins Baba TV following his departure from Nation Media Group’s Spark TV and Dembe FM in 2023. He had co-hosted the popular morning show Twezimbe on Dembe FM, which was also broadcast visually on Spark TV.
After leaving the media group, he turned his focus to his YouTube channel, where Kasuku Live has grown significantly, attracting a large following. Although several media companies attempted to bring him on board, Kasuku revealed that salary negotiations had prevented him from accepting their offers.
Now, he has landed a spot at Baba TV, where he will reportedly host a show once a week, specifically on Fridays.
While the station has confirmed his hiring, they have not yet disclosed further details about the new show. More information is expected to be shared in future communications.
