Through experience, I have stamped my name as a well reffered to online brand developer, media expert, PR Guru , a News Editor and a well thought certified Journalist.

Mityana District Woman MP, Joyce Bagala Ntwatwa has picked a fight with leader of opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi over the silent actions of his office regarding the ongoing fight to rescue National Unity platform (NUP) Politicial Prisoners.

Bagala disclosed that when she was still the shadow information minister , she applied her skills as a highly trained Journalist and led an investigation which resulted in detailing the particulars of all their people who are allegedly missing and detained in prison on what she termed as fabricated criminal charges.

She added that she filed her investigation report with the office of former LOP , Mathias Mpuuga who was by then occupying that office and he helped her to take further action on the said fight.

Surprisingly , nothing positive was done even though Mpuuga had put up a spirited fight to force the ruling government of NRM to release the prisoners by putting a ban on Parliament sittings for members of the opposition.

She further explained that the reason why people like Masaka city Councilor Ali Kateregga decided to use some of its content to meet Museveni who asked to release his NUP colleagues is because her investigation report is sitting idly in the LOP’s office.

Bagala said that the people Mpuuga reported are the ones currently openly working with President Museveni and his son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).

Museveni promised that he will look into Kateregga’s prayer to release NUP supporters.

However, when Bobi Wine got the news, he insisted that Museveni should release all NUP political prisoners unconditionally.

Bobi Wine further distanced himself and his party from Kateregga’s prayers at State House Entebbe insisting that he was speaking for himself.

NUP supporters are currently being charged with terrorism and treason related offences before the military court and are seeking to be released on court bail.
