Singer Jose Chameleone has responded to his brother, Weasel Manizo’s recent outburst in the United States, explaining that Weasel is homesick and eager to reunite with his family.
Chameleone shared that Weasel has been unwell for nearly a week and has been expressing his discomfort during that time.
Weasel and Chameleone have been in the U.S. since December, where Chameleone has been receiving medical treatment.
However, recent recordings surfaced of Weasel asking Juliet Zawedde, who has been hosting them, to help fund his return to Uganda.
In the leaked videos and audios, Weasel, who appeared intoxicated, revealed how much he misses his wife and children, saying he no longer enjoys his stay in the U.S. He even voiced concerns that his wife might move on with someone else.
Weasel also claimed that singers Bushoke and Chameleone have had a better experience in the U.S., as Zawedde has been taking them shopping and showering them with expensive gifts.
Reports indicate that Weasel was asked to leave Zawedde’s house after throwing a party without her permission. He had traveled to the U.S. with Chameleone, who was undergoing medical treatment, and had been staying at Zawedde’s home, with her covering the expenses.
Despite this, Weasel has continued to express affection for Zawedde, often telling her he loves her and referring to her as “mom.”
Jose Chameleone, who also thanked Zawedde for her support, mentioned that his health is improving and that he will return home once his medical reviews are completed.
He added that Weasel’s children have been calling him, asking when he will come back.
Jose Chameleone also hinted that Pallaso might travel to the U.S. to support him when Weasel returns to Uganda.
