Veteran Ugandan Deejay and Radio host, Robert Ogwal alias Rasta Rob MC has come out and revealed that he was the one who brought socialite Zari Hassan from Jinja to the capital city Kampala.
He made this revelation while appearing on NTV Uganda Mwasuzue Mutya program with Ruth Kalibbala when he stated that she is who she is today because of that simple move he made.
Rasta Rob said that he first met with the Socialite in 1996 – 1997 at Jinja Sailing club where he was Deejay and that at the time Zari was just 18 years.
Since then they started dating and from there he decided to bring to Kampala from Jinja and that they spent almost 2 years together.
However, with time , Zari got attached to other circles and they seperated .
He further attributed the majority of his glory days to his radio work, rather than his Music , also revealed that he is currently working part time at Radio City.
Currently, Zari is happily married to her younger Ugandan husband , Shakib Cham , embracing a new chapter in her life and Rasta Rob love life is not publicly known.
