NBS TV Journalists, Canary Mugume has denied reports that he has a familial link to the first Family of President Yoweri Museveni.
For years, Canary Mugume made many people to believe that he is related to president Museveni due to his closeness to number of prominent figures in the the first Family and since both belong to the same tribe of Banyakole and his origins from Mbarara give him facial relation with the current Ugandan President Museveni.
Speaking in his recent interview on Sanyuka TV, Canary Mugume set the record straight emphasizing the absence of any blood ties as he dispelled rumors and clarifying his relationship status with the prominent Political party.
He said that people have think like because of the nature of his job which forces him to be close and friends with such kind of people.
And that if he keeps distance away from such kind of people where will he get the content to present to the nation. And that he is friend to many Politicans from different political parties .
He further disclosed that he doesn’t support any political party for now because his job doesn’t permit him to be side with any Political side.
