Dancehall singer Mikie Wine, the younger brother to NUP leader Bobi Wine, has hit back hard at Bebe Cool following remarks that dismissed his musical ability and took aim at the Ssentamu family.
Speaking during a TV interview, Mikie Wine did not mince his words, branding Bebe Cool’s comments as disrespectful and ill-thought-out.

He said the same way Bebe Cool claims he is untalented is exactly how he views Bebe Cool as lacking sense.
The response comes after Bebe Cool recently released his controversial list in which he named Dax Vibez as the only talented musician from the Ssentamu family, leaving him out once again.
Despite TV presenters attempting to convince him about Mikie Wine’s stage presence and strong crowd control, Bebe Cool stood his ground, insisting he would not retract his remarks just as he did last year.

Bebe Cool went further, saying it is difficult for someone to appear on his list without “extensive talent,” especially if they come from a family he openly dislikes.
He maintained that he does not deserve recognition, claiming no one had suggested him for inclusion.
The exchange has reignited debate in Uganda’s music circles, with fans sharply divided over talent, legacy, and long-standing rivalries.
