The remaining half of the Goodlyfe crew duo, Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo has rescheduled his forthcoming to 02, August 2024 at Hotel Africana.
The singer said via their Goodlyfe crew Facebook that he changed the date of the event due to ” Public demand” from his fans.

The much – anticipated Concert was then set for 9th August at the Hotel Africana . Surprisingly , Hajji Haruna Mubiru had already fixed his Concert at the ,on the same date at Serena Hotel.
But according to Nobat events who is the organiser of Weasel’s Concert, in his statement said that they have decided to move Concert dates to 2nd August 2024 to seperate Hajji Haruna Mubiru and Weasel Manizo Concert which by coincidence had been scheduled on the same date.
Speaking to one of the local publication a few days ago , Nobat Events said that the concert aims to celebrate Weasel’s contribution to the Ugandan music industry.
“I wanted to give Ugandans a chance to show Weasel love because, since Mowzey died, Weasel has been missing performing for the Goodlyfe fans,” said Nobat Events.
Thus, Weasel manizo is expected to perform an entire catalog that he did with the late Mowzey Radio. This will probably see him alone or with a backup singer.
It should be noted that Weasel has barely moved on since the death of of his singing partner Mowzey Radioin 2018.
Six years later and the singer has never been the same. He’s mostly in the news for controversial reasons and many believe that Radio’s death sent him into depression that he’s yet to recover from.
Weasel last hosted a concert in 2017 when Radio & Weasel celebrated their 10th anniversary. Thousands of fans turned up for this concert and filled up the venue.
Weasel will therefore hope that fans will turn up in big numbers to fill up the venue which is smaller than Kyadondo.
More details will be shared in the next few weeks ahead. However, a number of ugandan musicians such as Karole Kasita have already come out to express support for the singer.
