Celebrated BBS Terefayina presenter and actress Florence Nampijja has officially parted ways with the Bulange-Mengo based TV station after close to 10 years of dedicated service.
The news of her exit was first revealed by media personality and YouTuber Kasuku, who shared a screenshot of her heartfelt farewell message to workmates via his X (formerly Twitter) page earlier today.
In her emotional message, Nampijja appreciated her colleagues and the entire BBS family for the love and memories shared over the years.
“Spending nearly 10 fantastic years here has been an invaluable experience, and I deeply appreciate the time I’ve spent working with each of you. Thank you for making my time here so memorable,” she wrote.
Florence Nampijja joined BBS TV back in 2016, shortly after the station had just been launched by the Buganda Kingdom. With her humor, creativity, and lively personality, she quickly became one of the most celebrated faces on the channel.
She has been best known for hosting the popular music show “BBS Tucacance”, which airs from Monday to Friday at 5 PM, attracting a huge fanbase among youth and urban music lovers.
As she steps away from BBS TV, Nampijja remains grateful for the platform that helped shape her name and career. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see her next move in the media and entertainment industry.
