Dancehall artist Fik Gaza has reclaimed his passport after it was previously withheld by the court due to ongoing legal proceedings.
The singer has been facing charges stemming from a simple robbery allegation, a case that has attracted considerable media and legal attention in recent weeks.

Speaking to reporters outside the courthouse, Gaza expressed both relief and gratitude.
“I returned to court to follow up on my case since I still have some pending matters. My passport had been held, but fortunately, it has now been returned to me,” he said.
The court, in agreement with his legal team, ruled that the passport should be returned, allowing Fik Gaza to honor upcoming international performance commitments.
Despite this development, the artist remains involved in legal proceedings. He revealed that he still does not know the identity of the complainant responsible for the original charges that led to his arrest last month.
His attorney has formally requested the court to disclose the complainant’s identity and clarify the specific allegations against Fik Gaza.
On a more positive note, a separate case in Wakiso has been resolved through an out-of-court settlement, bringing one of the legal matters to a close.
Fik Gaza is still required to appear in court as his legal journey continues. His next hearing is scheduled for July 7.
