Musicians Fik Gaza and Pallaso have weighed in on the recent arrest of their rival, Alien Skin, who was remanded to Luzira Prison following a violent altercation with staff at Nsambya Hospital, alongside accusations of iPhone and cash theft.

Despite their past disagreements, Fik Gaza expressed sympathy for Alien Skin’s situation, stating that he would not celebrate his rival’s downfall.

Drawing from his own experience, having spent time at Luzira, Fik Gaza highlighted how difficult the conditions there are.

“I don’t wish to see him locked up. I want him to settle this matter outside of prison. Rejoicing in his arrest is like wishing death upon him because prison is a death sentence. I spent one and a half years in Luzira, so I know how tough it is,” Fik Gaza revealed.

The situation took a dramatic turn on Tuesday when one of Alien Skin’s devoted fans, Joram Personz, was involved in a serious accident. After being rushed to Nsambya Hospital, Personz was declared dead, prompting Alien Skin and his team to storm the facility demanding answers and the release of the autopsy report. In the chaos that followed, Alien Skin’s group physically assaulted medical staff and security personnel.

The singer was arrested the following evening and brought before Makindye Court on charges related to the theft of a wallet and an iPhone 15 Pro. He was remanded to Luzira Upper Prison until December 9th.

Fik Gaza has questioned the theft charges, arguing that Alien Skin, being a successful artist, would have no need to steal a phone he could easily afford. However, he condemned the violence that erupted at Nsambya Hospital.

“I don’t believe he stole that phone. People accuse me of stealing phones at my shows too, but Alien Skin is a big artist, and stealing a phone isn’t something he would do. But attacking doctors was wrong,” Fik Gaza stated. He also called on authorities to consider pardoning Alien Skin and urged him to reflect on his actions once he is released.

In a similar vein, Pallaso expressed concern about the impact of Alien Skin’s arrest on the community. He warned that the ghetto youth who look up to the artist could end up homeless, potentially returning to the streets and causing further trouble.

“You can’t just lock him up over something as trivial as phone theft, especially when his wardrobe is worth far more. If he’s guilty, he should face punishment, but outside of prison, and through a fair court process,” Pallaso argued.
