Former media personality Faridah Nakazibwe has embarked on a new journeythis time, in early childhood care.
In a video shared across her social media platforms, Nakazibwe revealed that the inspiration to start a day-care center first struck her in 2015, following a personal crisis that left a lasting impact.
She recalled the moment vividly: one morning in 2015, she woke up as usual, ready to take her children to school before heading to work. But when she checked the room where her housemaid slept alongside the kids, she was stunned to find the maid had vanished without a trace. The children were still sound asleep.
“I still remember that morning so clearly, I had to think fast within two minutes I was on the phone with my workplace explaining why I’d be late. That day planted the seed for what I’m doing now.”,she said.

Years later, after stepping away from her media career, Nakazibwe has turned that experience into action by founding Nanaville Baby Care Center a 24-hour day-care facility designed for children between six months and two years old.
The center offers a range of services tailored to support a child’s development while easing the burden on working parents.
“We care for every child as if they were our own,” she emphasized.
Nakazibwe extended a warm invitation to parentsespecially those working night and day shifts encouraging them to consider Nanaville as a safe, nurturing space for their little ones.
