Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz has announced his strong desire to team up with Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone for a collaboration in 2025.
Speaking during a high-energy performance at a recent event in Ntungamo District, Diamond thrilled the crowd with several hits, including a special tribute performance of Chameleone’s iconic song Valu Valu.
It was during this tribute that he publicly expressed his admiration for the Ugandan star and confirmed plans to hit the studio together.
“I want to make sure I do a song with Jose Chameleone this year,I tried to make it happen earlier, but at the time, he was unwell and had to travel for treatment. Now that he’s recovered, we’ll make it happen.”Diamond told the audience. “
Diamond went on to praise Chameleone’s talent and his role in uniting East Africa through music.
“We love and respect him so much. He’s done a lot for East African music, and we’re grateful.”,he said.
Fans across the region are now eagerly awaiting the collaboration between these two African music giants.
