Ugandan artist Ivan Bugembe Sentamu, popularly known as Dax Vibez, has expressed his disappointment after fellow singer Cindy Sanyu announced her concert for the same date he had already set for his own.
Dax Vibez had previously confirmed August 29, 2025, as the date for his much-anticipated concert at Hotel Africana. However, just days ago, Cindy Sanyu revealed she would also be holding her concert on that same day sparking reactions across the local music scene.
When asked about the clash, Dax Vibez did not hold back his feelings, stating that he was disheartened by the development.
He shared that he attempted to reach out to Cindy to discuss a possible resolution, but only managed to speak with her concert promoter, and the conversation didn’t yield a positive outcome.
“I reached out to discuss the dates and how we could support each other on different days, but it didn’t end well.I can’t blame them, but I also can’t change my date since I’ve already booked the venue and invested in promotions.”Dax said.
Despite the scheduling conflict, Dax Vibez remains committed to going ahead with his show as planned. He urged fans to come out in full support for what will be his first major concert at a large venue.
“I’m calling on all party lovers to come out in big numbers. Let’s fill up my show first then the rest can head to Cindy’s,” he added with a light-hearted tone.
