Music producer and singer Andrew Ojambo alias Daddy Andre has confirmed that he is no longer a member of the Uganda National Musicians Federation ( UNMF).
Following the it’s establishment , number of artistes subscribed to it with aim of developing the Uganda music industry,uniting artistes and sensiting them.
However , a few months after it’s formation , a number of Musicians including ; Spice Diana,Greande official ,Afrigo Band’s Moses Matovu ditched the federation with Daddy Andre being the most.
While taking in an interview with Sanyuka TV recently , however , Daddy Andre got a few things off his chest , including confirming that he is no longer member of the Eddy Kenzo’s led UNMF.
He citied that the federation’s plans and goals are not clear and lacked a proper sense of direction to develop and improve on the artists works.
He further disclosed that there is much disorgansation associated with federation and that it has failed to distinguish between it’s own objectives and those of individual artists ( associations).
