Renowned Ugandan comedian, Maulana Kasozi alias Maulana ,half of Maulana & Reign Duo, has been dragged to police over charges of family neglect.
Nalugya Shubira Betty , Maulana’s ex- baby mama is accusing the comedian of neglecting his family for the past nine months.
Nalugya alleged that whenever the comedian visits her ,he engages with in sexual activities with her and in return he provided with her alot amount of money.
That when she once refused to engage with him in bedroom activities ,the comedian insisted on taking their children custody , which she refused , claiming that they were still minors to stay with their father.
The matter was Subsequently brought before the family court at Mwanga 11 where the matter was settled and Maulana was ordered to pay his ex- baby mama Ugx 15k daily for the child care and contribute to their rent but it is reported that Maulana since last year in June stopped to extend the financial support to the family as he was ordered by the court.
However , earlier today in the video seen by our website shows Maulana being escorted into a police pickup van surrounded by security operatives and driven away to yet to be identified destination.
