Ailing comedian Bobi Brown has publicly turned to singer Bebe Cool, asking for both forgiveness and financial assistance.
Bobi has been battling severe health issues since he was brutally attacked by thugs in 2021, leaving him bedridden for months.
The comedian has been seeking help from various sources and, in response, fellow comedians launched a fundraising campaign. The campaign raised 1.4 million shillings, which was shared between Bobi Brown and another comedian, Cold Q, who, sadly, passed away during this period.
Bobi recently revealed that he was scheduled to undergo surgery last month but couldn’t afford the procedure. When asked why he hadn’t sought assistance from Bebe Cool, with whom he had a friendship, Bobi explained that shortly after the attack, Bebe Cool had offered to cover his medical expenses. However, a third party convinced Bobi to seek treatment from a herbalist instead, derailing the singer’s offer. Since then, Bobi has been hesitant to reach out to Bebe Cool for help.
Now, in a heartfelt plea, Bobi has decided to ask for forgiveness on camera. “I want to appeal to Bebe Cool to forgive me for what I did. He was ready to help me after the accident, but someone I won’t mention led me to a herbalist. I know this upset Bebe, and it was wrong of me, but I’m truly sorry. A child never wrongs in the eyes of the father, and I’m pleading with him to forgive me,” Bobi said, his voice filled with emotion.
Bebe Cool is widely known for his generosity and charitable efforts. He has funded surgeries for dozens of children in India and is planning a charity-driven concert in 2025.
Bobi Brown now hopes that Bebe Cool will extend his kindness once again and offer the support he so desperately needs.
