Ugandan singer and former talent manager Chagga born Geoffrey Kyagambidwa has cancelled his long-awaited concert that was supposed to take place yesterday at Kati Kati Grounds, Kampala.
The veteran musician had been promoting the show, dubbed “Friends of Chagga,” for over a month, with hopes of reconnecting with fans and fellow artists who have walked with him through his music journey.

However, the much-anticipated event failed to happen after Chagga was forced to call it off at the last minute.
Speaking out, the former Goodlyfe and Leone Island member expressed disappointment, revealing that he faced sabotage and criticism from some individuals in the music industry.
Chagga also lamented that many of his fellow artists didn’t show him the support he expected.

He added that financial challenges made it hard to clear payments for service providers, leading to the concert’s cancellation.
Despite the setback, fans continue to shower him with messages of encouragement, hoping he will bounce back stronger with another concert soon.
