Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine,  the leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and singer  has expressed serious concerns over his safety.

On Friday, Bobi Wine took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that his home had been surrounded by unidentified men in civilian clothing, whom he suspects are armed. He believes this move is part of a larger plan orchestrated by President Museveni and his son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

“Whatever happens to me, Museveni and his son are responsible. Since yesterday, our home has been under surveillance by strange men who seem to be armed,” Bobi wrote.

He further claimed to have gathered information suggesting that these men are out to take his life, a threat that was allegedly made by Museveni’s son just days earlier.

“We’ve received intel that they are after my life. They have already abducted several of our comrades, including some members of my security team. Currently, they are raiding our Party headquarters. We are prepared for anything from this cowardly regime – but we will not be intimidated!” the NUP leader declared.

This alarming news comes just a week after the mysterious disappearance of his brother, Fred Nyanzi, who serves as NUP’s chief mobilizer. Nyanzi, according to the party, was abducted by men in plain clothes after attending a meeting at the NUP headquarters in Kavule.h
