Legendary gospel singer Betty Nakibuuka has called on the media to stop scrutinizing her daughter Baby Gloria’s relationship with her fiancé Jonas Rayme, stressing that they should allow them to enjoy their young love in peace.
Since their engagement became public, Baby Gloria and Jonas have faced constant attention in the gossip columns, with some media personalities even offering harsh criticism.
Nakibuuka has repeatedly defended her daughter’s relationship in the media, even being dubbed the couple’s spokesperson by some.
However, in her latest media appearance, she expressed frustration with the ongoing scrutiny and insisted it must end.
Nakibuuka declared that she would no longer participate in interviews about the relationship, urging the public to give the couple space to enjoy their love without interference.
She even hinted at the possibility of hiring security to shield her daughter from the invasive media attention.
“Please let them be and let them enjoy their young love in peace. They won’t break up because of your opinions. I’m tired of all this gossip,” Nakibuuka stated.
