In a surprising and humorous turn of events, socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa, better known as Bad Black has publicly encouraged Pastor Wilson Bugembe to marry former Miss Uganda UK, Dr. Jan Mukiibi.
Dr. Mukiibi, though not widely recognized on social media, enjoys considerable fame among Ugandans living abroad, having held the title of Miss Uganda UK in 2017-18.
At 22 years old, she has recently moved to Uganda to serve as an NHS Global Health Fellow, collaborating with Uganda’s Ministry of Health to enhance mental health services across the country.
During a visit to Pastor Bugembe’s The Worship House church in Nansana on Sunday, Dr. Mukiibi was photographed with the pastor, sparking reactions from social media users. Many fans quickly began imagining a potential romance between the two, fueling Bad Black’s playful suggestion.
After seeing the photos, Bad Black shared her thoughts on Facebook, jokingly urging the pastor to take the next step.
“Dear Generation Pastor, this is the woman you should marry. I’m sure your heart is moved, just like ours. Ameen. She loves you, and just like Baby Gloria found her dream man, it’s your turn now,” she wrote.
Pastor Bugembe, who has long said that he will marry when the time feels right, has yet to walk down the aisle.
