Ugandan musician Patrick Mulwana alias Alien Skin, has been remanded to prison on robbery charges.
On Wednesday, he appeared before the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court, where he was formally charged with robbery under sections 266 and 267(1)(A) of the Penal Code Act, Cap 128. According to the charge sheet, on September 28, 2024, in the Makindye Division of Kampala District.
Alien Skin allegedly robbed Salim Mubiru of an iPhone 15 valued at Shs3.5 million, Shs480,000 in cash, and a wallet containing a national ID. The charges also include allegations of using violence during the robbery.
Alien Skin was remanded in custody until December 9, 2024, when the case will be mentioned in court.
Alien Skin Faces Additional Assault Allegations
In a separate development, Uganda Police confirmed that Alien Skin is also being investigated in connection with an assault on medical staff at Nsambya Hospital.
According to the police, the musician is facing charges of assault and simple robbery related to the incident. Further details on this case are expected to be released soon.
