Controversial singer and Fangone Forest boss, Alien Skin (real name Patrick Mulwana), has officially declared his allegiance to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The announcement came during President Museveni’s nomination rally at Kololo Independence Grounds, where Alien Skin took the stage and made a bold statement:
“I’m tired of hiding. I belong to NRM.”
The revelation stunned many especially considering that just months ago, Alien Skin was unveiled as a key mobilizer for Mathias Mpuuga’s Democratic Front Party (DFP) ahead of the 2026 elections.
At the time, he had signed an MOU with the party and was presented as a political figure poised to rally Uganda’s youth, particularly in Buganda.
Back then, he told an enthusiastic crowd:

“I am very pleased to be given this kind of platform to stand here before you as an active politician.”
Fast forward, and Alien Skin has now switched political camps, throwing his support behind the very establishment he once appeared to challenge. His decision is already stirring debate across both the entertainment and political arenas.
So, what’s next for the unpredictable artist? Is this a serious step into full-time politics or just another dramatic twist in his ever-evolving public journey
