Events organizer Abbey Musinguzi, known as Abitex, has ambitious plans to arrange a concert for Bobi Wine at Hamz Nakivubo Stadium formely Nakivubo Stadium this year.
The stadium is set to be open to the public on June 1st.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, Abitex revealed his intention to bring Bobi Wine, the only Ugandan artist capable of filling the stadium to capacity single – handely
He expressed his willingness to negotiate with security forces to ensure the concert’s success, aiming for either Boxing Day or December 31st for the event.
Since Bobi Wine’s entry into politics, his ability to freely perform has been restricted, sparking tensions with the current president.
