Hajjat Sarah Kakungulu, the mother of Prince Kassim Nakibinge has passed away.
She died on Monday evening after a battle with kidney failure at the International Hospital of Kampala.
Hajjat Kakungulu was the widow of the late Prince Badru Kakungulu and the mother of Prince Khalifan Kakungulu.
She was a prominent figure in the Buganda kingdom, known for her dedication to supporting Muslim families and guiding educational institutions in the region.
Her contributions were instrumental in the growth and development of the community.
Her funeral prayers will be held today at Kibuli Mosque, followed by burial at Namasumbi at 2 p.m.
