Veteran Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor has died, a family member has confirmed.
Close sources says ,the veteran Nollywood actor succumbed to Kideny- related complications at his home.
The tragic news of Muonagor’s death hit the internet on evening of Sunday ,March 24,2024.
This is coming barely one week after a video circulated online showing the 61- year- old actor lying still in bed , begging for financial aid to support his kidney transplant in India.
According to Kingsley Orji fellow actor , disclosed that the Kidney disease had caused speech impairment for the ailing actor ,and they decide to bring him back home from the hospital due to financial difficulties.
Orji earlier revealed that Muonagor had been battling diabetes and stroke , with the latter causing paralysis in his leg.
Muonagor , a native of Idenmili, in Anambra, was born August 20th , 1962 and father of four children.
He was an actor and producer.In 2016 he was nominated for AMVCA and in 2017 was Best Actor in a comedy.
He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on the screen was truly masterful
