In their recent interview on Galaxy TV, the Ugaboys duo expressed their dissatisfaction with Pallaso’s latest collaboration, “Want Money,” featuring Jamaican dancehall artist Konshens.
They asserted that the song falls short of expectations, suggesting Pallaso’s performance was subpar.
The “Salary” hit makers went on to suggest that, given the chance, they would have advised Konshens to collaborate with Alien Skin instead of Pallaso.
They argued that the synergy between Alien Skin and Konshens would have been more effective, citing the success of Konshens’ “Banana Remix” with Jose Chameleone and Fik Gaza music.
Ugaboyz emphasized that some Ugandan songs that have gained attention and popularity despite their perceived quality, citing examples like Gravity Omutujju’s “Okweipcha” and Eddy Kenzo’s “Balipila Boda.”
The comments have stirred controversy and sparked discussions across the internet.
