Fans of Ali Campbell, the former lead singer and founder of British reggae band UB40 in Kampala have been heartbroken with the news that the much hyped concert which was to be held on 21st, December 2023 has been cancelled and postponed to a later date.
According to inside sources, the organizers at Talent Africa Group and Next Media Services postponed the show despite major preparations.
In the press release put out, by the organizers of UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell which was salted to keep place at the Kololo Independence grounds have expressed genuine regret and disappointment , reasoning an unforeseeable circumstance at the event venue which is out of their hands.
The announcement read:
“This unexpected development has left us all disheartened, and we extend our sincere apologies to our stakeholders, partners, and customers for any inconveniences this may have caused.”– the organizers noted.
