Mclevi keeps the momentum alive with captivating ‘Some Are’ video off debut MCLEANER MIXTAPE

Ugandan rapper Mclevi is wasting no time in building on the success of his debut project after unveiling the official music video for “Some Are,” one of the standout tracks from his recently released MCLEANER MIXTAPE.

The release comes just days after the mixtape dropped, proving the fast-rising rapper is determined to keep fans engaged while showcasing his creativity and lyrical versatility.

 

The 13-track project blends different rap styles and storytelling, featuring songs such as Go, Some Are, Not Friends, Pay Me, Intimate, Reactions, Live featuring Fakher, Pour Four Freestyle, Came from the Mud, Showing Love, Teed Up, and Where You Been (Blessing).

Mclevi also teamed up with Peter Lugs and Fakher on the mixtape, collaborations that add fresh energy and broaden the project’s appeal within Uganda’s growing hip-hop scene.

The visually striking “Some Are” video was co-directed by BlendIN and Mclevi at FTM Studio, while the song was produced, mixed, and mastered by THEINKREDIBO at FTM Records. Mclevi also penned the track, underlining his role as both a rapper and songwriter.

Speaking about the project, Mclevi revealed that every song on MCLEANER MIXTAPE tells a different story, with each music video designed around its own unique concept to give fans a fresh viewing experience.

Although he has spent just a year in the music industry, the rapper says his ambition is to build a lasting legacy and create music that can compete beyond Uganda’s borders.

Away from music, Mclevi is also expanding FTM into a full-fledged creative brand that will venture into music production, events, merchandise, and other entertainment businesses.

Fans can expect more visuals from the mixtape in the coming weeks, with an official listening party also set to be announced soon.
