Ugandan dancehall artist Fik Gaza has officially returned to performing at NRM presidential rallies, just days after publicly vowing never to appear at any of their events again.

The Gaza Music boss recently shocked fans when he took to social media accusing the ruling party of using ghetto musicians without proper payment. He even offered to refund deposits and declared he was done with NRM gigs.

However, in a surprising twist, Fik Gaza was spotted performing at several presidential rallies in Western Uganda over the weekend.

Speaking to journalists over the weekend, the “Banana ” hitmaker confirmed that the dispute had been resolved.

“It was all about the money. That’s what I work for. They finally paid what I asked for, so I had to cause some chaos for things to be cleared,” he said.

He thanked senior figures like Bebe Cool, Hon. Balaam, and Eddy Kenzo for stepping in to help address the issue and ensure ghetto artists were treated fairly.

Fik Gaza also revealed that artists were being paid depending on the number of songs performed , a system he says works well because he has a big catalogue.

The singer now promises to appear at more NRM rallies across the country, saying he is ready to entertain his fans wherever he is booked.
