Musician Yung Mulo, real name Kassim Lubega, has publicly challenged fellow artist Alien Skin to settle their differences in the boxing ring instead of resorting to street violence.
In an interview with local TV station , Yung Mulo criticized artists who incite chaos and intimidate civilians, urging them to channel their aggression through fair, organized fights. Confident in his abilities, he stated he was ready to take on anyone brave enough to face him.
“It’s better to put on gloves and settle things in the ring than beat up innocent people. I could gather a gang too, but I’m not looking to spill blood. I’d rather we fight fairly and let the winner be announced,” Mulo said.
The trend of artists, especially those from the ghetto, moving with large entourages or “ggaali” gangs for protection and intimidation has become common. Yung Mulo acknowledged this but emphasized that violence should not be the answer.
When asked who he wanted to fight, Mulo didn’t name names initially but made it clear he was calling out artists who stir trouble instead of focusing on music.
“They scare people and then disappear. If you’re confident, step up. Don’t be a coward,” he added.
He revealed that he had previously challenged Rickman, who allegedly declined after hearing about Mulo’s fighting history. He then openly called out Alien Skin, with whom he claims to have had long-standing issues.
“Alien Skin is a coward. He ignored my challenge. I’ve gone through his crew, so I know he got the message. Let’s settle this in the ring instead of the streets,” Mulo concluded.
