Renowned Ugandan dancehall artist Richard Kasendwa, popularly known as Ziza Bafana, has once again taken aim at fellow musician Bebe Cool, accusing him of sabotaging his career.
In a recent interview on Galaxy FM, Bafana didn’t hold back as he reignited his long-standing grievances against the Gagamel boss.
According to Bafana, numerous artists have attempted to derail his music journey, but Bebe Cool stands out as a consistent name in conversations about his alleged career sabotage.
He claims Bebe went as far as bribing media outlets to stop playing his music, simply because he was gaining unstoppable momentum.
“I thank God that I can’t be bewitched, but many people have tried to suppress my career, this includes paying media not to play my songs. Bebe Cool’s name has come up multiple times. I respect him as a legend and have learned a lot from him, especially when it comes to lifestyle and showbiz. But that doesn’t make him a good person.” Bafana said.

Bafana didn’t stop there. He threw further jabs at Bebe Cool, claiming he is bigger than the Gagamel singer and accusing him of copying Jamaican artists, particularly Buju Banton. “Gagamel is even a copy of Buju Banton’s crew,” Bafana noted, adding that unlike Bebe, he doesn’t imitate Jamaican musicians—he competes with them.
He also criticized Bebe’s artistic direction, saying his international success has been hindered by poor foundational choices. “Even if he releases eight albums, he won’t go international. He tried juggling too many genres instead of focusing on reggae, where he’s actually good,” Bafana argued.
This isn’t the first time Bafana has attacked Bebe Cool. However, the “Wire Wire” hitmaker has often chosen not to respond. In a previous incident, when Ziza accused Bebe of blocking him on social media, Bebe explained that his accounts had been hacked, dismissing Bafana’s claims as misinformed.

As of now, Bebe Cool has not responded to these new allegations. We’ll keep you updated should he choose to address them.
