Leader of the Opposition and legal professional Joel Ssenyonyi has officially joined the ranks of Uganda’s practicing advocates, marking the final step in his journey to full legal practice.
Ssenyonyi shared the news on his X account, celebrating the culmination of years of legal education and training.
“Becoming a Practicing Advocate is such a lengthy journey,after completing a law degree and then LDC [Law Development Centre, the final step is Enrolment — getting your name entered into the roll of advocates so you can represent clients in court.”,he wrote.

He added, “This morning, I finished the last lap and enrolled after numerous lengthy procedures. So if you need Counsel to represent you, just holla.”
With this enrolment, Ssenyonyi is now officially authorized to represent clients in court a major professional milestone built on years of dedication and persistence in the legal field.
