Acclaimed Ugandan videographer and film director Sasha Vybz born Ian Akankwasa continues to assert his creative dominance across East Africa’s music scene.
Following successful collaborations in Rwanda and Tanzania with stars like Bruce Melodie and Diamond Platnumz, Sasha has recently delivered visually captivating work for top Ugandan artists including Sheebah, Mambo Yo, Reachel K, and Cindy.
His latest project, wrapped up this past Sunday, is a high-profile music video featuring legendary Congolese artist Koffi Olomide.
Shot on location in Entebbe, Uganda, the video has already stirred excitement across the region.
Describing the project, Sasha called it “one of the best” he’s ever worked on a bold statement from a director celebrated for crafting some of Africa’s most memorable music videos.
