Ugandan Dancehall star Ziza Bafana has set tongues wagging after calling fellow artist Nina Roz “one of the most beautiful ladies in Uganda,” reviving long-standing speculation about a possible romantic past between the two.
During a recent television interview, Bafana reflected on his early days in music and the close relationship he once shared with Nina Roz.
“At the start of my career with Yiya Mowzey, Nina Roz was very close to me,” he said, offering just enough detail to spark renewed curiosity about the nature of their bond.
Though he stopped short of confirming a romantic relationship, his remarks hinted at a deeper connection. When asked whether he could ever see himself marrying her, Bafana responded with a smile: “She is one of the most beautiful girls in the country, and I’m attracted to beautiful girls.”
His statement has reignited public interest in their past, especially in light of Nina Roz’s previous comments.
In a June interview, she firmly denied any romantic history with Bafana.
“I don’t know anything about dating Ziza Bafana,I’ve always seen him as a friend. But if he said we ever dated, then he took it too far.”she said.
